Hi, my name is Beth aka PIG MEAT!
I work with digital collage and traditional illustration techniques to create surreal and unnerving depictions of society. I enjoy exploring the intersection between illustration and social commentary and my portfolio showcases a range of projects that reflect a darkly humorous and satirical perspective on contemporary politics, covering topics like corruption, authority, consumerism, and neoliberalism.
Some of my recent accomplishments include being published in The Guardian, earning a spot on the long-list for the Boom 2024 Illustration Awards, and receiving a nomination for the 2024 Liverpool Art and Design Masters Award.
(Incase you were wondering, I was bitten by a pig when I was a child and given the nickname PIG MEAT)
If you like my illustration style and wish to work with me, drop me an email. I'd love to hear your project ideas!
